THIS guide gives a walkthrough to the basic quests, so that is not what this is for. This tells you what quests to do, and how you can beat them. I am also listing places armour traders can be found. Also, these are only the optional quests, not the forced ones (Thereby, excluding those led to you by A new xxxx Trainer)
All
Tithe for Ashford Abbey
Start: Devona (Ashford City outside Ashford Abbey)
Reward: 250 experiance, 1 Skill Point.
Guide: When you get this, move north to Green Hills Country and talk to Grazden the Protector, then go back to Devona. Simple. I recommend doing this in conjunction with Opposition To The King, as there are 3 NPCs for that quest in the same place.
Elementalist
Supremacy of Air
Start: Relena Stormbringer (Foibles Fair)
Reward: 250 experiance, Blinding Flash, Lightning Javelin.
Guide: This is pretty easy. You get the two skills beforehand, so the quest itself is optional, but if you want to do it equip the Javelin, then have a wander through the mountains to the Tower Golem. Kill it with Javelin, then talk to the nearby Elementalist Aziure for your reward.
Mesmer
Domination Magic
Start: Vassar (Foibles Fair)
Reward: 250 experiance, Backfire, Shatter Delusions
Guide: Simple. Follow your map to the Brood, and then use Backfire on him, or you will find out just what a giant icicle fired at you can do.
Monk
Blessings of Balthazar
Start: Brother Mhelno (Ashford Abbey)
Reward: 250 experiance, Retribution, Symbol Of Wrath
Guide: Walk out of the abbey, and use your smiting prayers to kill the undead. I recommend letting them kill the farmers, while you pick off the Cadavars, then use either Breeze or Hands to protect yourself, let the melees swamp you then SOW them.
Protection Prayers
Start: Grazden the Protector
Reward: 250 experiance, Shielding Hands, Reversal Of Fortune
Guide: Just go back out of GHC, and follow Farrah Cappo, healing and protting as needed. Don't worry, she will easily take out everything on her own, all she needs if a bit of defense.
Necromancer
The Accursed Path
Start: Oberon The Reviled (Catacombs. Use Charr In The catcombs quest to find him)
Reward: 250 experiance, Soul Barbs, Faintheartedness
Guide: Just follow your map to kill the enemies.
Power Of Blood
Start: Kasha Blackblood, Green Hills Country (Near Farrah and the lot)
Reward: 250 experiance, Vampiric Touch, Blood Renewal
Guide: There are two more than you need to kill. Map or fight to The Barradin Estate, and from here go north to the catacombs entrance. Follow the Fanatic, and kill him and his comrades (Vile Touch, beware) to finish the quest.
Ranger
Test Of Marksmanship
Start: Ivor Trueshot (Regent Valley, on the way to Ranik)
Reward: 250 experiance, Point Blank Shot, Read The Wind
Guide: A pet helps. I can't really give you much, but use your special attacks as much as possible.
Unnatural Growth
Start: Aidan (Wizards Folly fishing village)
Reward: 250 experiance, Dual Shot, Ignite Arrows)
Guide: Using your new skills is helpful. Try to survive, and remember you only need to kill one!
Warrior
Warrior's Challenge
Start: Duke Barradin (Barradin Estate)
Reward: 250 experiance, Hammer Bash, Frenzy
Guide: As he uses his rage, knock him down. As my Mo/W I did it without, through use of Bane Signet, Banish and Symbol Of Wrath, but it is easier just to KD him.
The Vineyard Problem
Start: Little Thom (Barradin Estate)
Reward: 250 experiance, Cyclone Axe, Executioners Strike
Guide: As Mo/ or /Mo, one Symbol Of Wrath will finsih them off. If not, use Cyclone axe to kill the smaller seeds and weaken the biggers, then kill them one by one. If you like, abandon and redo this quest as much as you like for Seed farming.
Collectors Armour
Wow, 2 armour, amazing. Not worth it IMO, unles you are planning to stay in pre a long time, but if you must get it, here are some places they are found.
BELT POUCH (NOT ARMOUR) (RECOMMENDED!!!)
Collector in: Ashford City
Collects: 5 Worn Belts (Bandits)
Legs
Collector in: Fort Ranik
Collects: 3 Spider Legs (Spiders)
Chest
Collector in: Fort Ranik
Collects: 5 Unatural Seeds (Aloe Seeds, Oakheart)
Boots
Collector In: The Catacombs, near Green Hills exit.
Collects: 5 Gargoyle Skulls (Gargoyles)
Gloves
Collector In: Wizards Folly, just outside Foibles.
Collects: 3 Icy Lodestones (Ice Elementals)
Other: These are for my monk, who I am not willing to delete at the moment and therefore cannot test fr others. However, I do remember somethign like this:
Boots/Gloves (not sure which)
Collector In: Straight towards Ascalon from Ashford Abbey.
Collects: 3 Baked Husks (Plague Worm)
