Decided to give this a go the other day, because certain guildies claimed that I wouldn't be able to do it... managed first try :D (and even got 2 ectos)
Wait, what? How? I swear the smites to enough base damage to pretty much rince your health before VwK has recharged when your not using any form of + armor or healing. How does this work?
i would assume its in the insignias he is using. probably a zealous mod on the weapon as well, or a furious mod is more likely. definitely was using elemental armor runes to take the smites on. or he could just have godly amounts of health to tank =P.
Warriors have a base 80 armor, when i vwk solo i use dolyak+shield to boost my armor giving me i think +56 the insignia are all the +health
assuming smites deal elemental dmg he could have over whatever the strength breaking point is for the +20 vs ele and an additional+10 mod on his shield
either way though half the time i forget to use dolyak while im mindlessly tanking the smites and im fine
I didn't use any special armor or weaps, those are my normal ones for when I use a full skillbar...
It's an aegis of terror, which is +26 armor
axe I put on for pic because I like how it looks, while fighting, it's furious, 15^50, defense.
Armor is all knights, that's why it's so ugly... it's mixed and matched of all my sets.
I didn't think it was really all that special, the only thing I had to do differently was take smaller aggros (I usually do around 3 mobs/pull, I did 1 at a time this run)
