i know you mean the compass, but i dont think it is too small, it isnt really needed to be big.
I change my UI depending on what I'm doing, healing I don't need much besides skill bar, energy, Party, and chat lol. And feel free to steal the build =D, just changed out recovery for life in most places, much better spirit.
1) it's Spirit Channeling (awesome health degeneration on yourself, in exchange for awesome energy regeneration. If it ends while being close to a spirit, you gain 100 health [exactly the amount you lost due to degen])
2) probably for superior runes, it doesn't matter if he gets attacked, he has some good protection weapon spells (gotta love weapon spells <3)
