yes, very nice, congrats too by the way. i love this farm but i had no luck yet. you do make quite alot of money alone from this run. ive gotten 4 gold drops from the bosses at once.
Ty guys for the comments, it turned out to be a Furious Elemental Sword of Warding with a 15^50 inion. I'm gonna throw a 20/20 on it and sell it.
The NPC's are for killing Alem The Unclean's group and the mandragor outside the temple. After that you flag them off radar so only you get the drops.
Shawnus- definitely keep at it. I've only been doing this run for about a week now, maybe 5 or 6 times a day.
If I recall correctly, the flag them off the map thing doesn't work anymore. After the loot scale update, I believe they fixed it so people didn't exploit it. Spose I could go on wiki and find out for sure, just throwing my suggestion out there.
To clarify my wording- the purpose of flagging the henchies is to eliminate the possibility of any rare drops being assigned to them.
Your right about the loot scaling, I still only get drops proportional to a 1 person party, but with them off the radar any gold drops are 100% guaranteed for me
Ah...I went and confirmed the situation. Loot scaling applies to how big you party is, but....high end items, like golds, are exempt from scaling. That's why you are able to farm such things as those with a higher rate of efficiency. Thank you for the clarification.
Btw...nice drop, earn some money...and give it to all your guildies :)
