I'm guessing you used an Elite Tome, I would've thought you had to be lv 20 or something to use them because it makes it a bit unfair having them so early on, especially in the low lv arenas.

Well you're "supposed" to have beaten the game, gotten hard mode, conquered hard mode, gotten some elite skill Tomes so you don't need to start over as a Newbie seeing as how you've already beaten the game/hard mode
I hate Elite Tomes, takes the fun out of getting the Elite.
fun??? LOL, yea its so much fun having to beat dozens of missions and quests just to reach a goddam elite u need! even tho u have capped it on other chars and/or unlocked in pvp!! elite toms are one of the best things EVER from the updates, seriously...it stops people from wasting countless amounts of hours xD

Kinda long ago they disabled elite skills in low level arenas
I hate Elite Tomes, takes the fun out of getting the Elite.

Even if you said "challenge" instead of "fun," you're proven wrong there as well since you actually have to beat the game, play on HARD mode, and use 3000 faction points to unlock the elite (or previously have capped it).
It seems there'll always be complaints no matter what A-net does though =/
But u must remember even tho i have VwK at level 2 its not as powerful becuz i have little atts, but i did it so i can actuall go thru factions with it. Instead of getting it with only 3 missions left(not counting the deep).
The real clincher for me is that if I want a skill from the end of NF on a character which hasn't really made a start on Elona I can cap it with another char then use a Tome to learn it on the desired char.
The other bonus is that I had an Ele a long time back and deleted him, now I can get all the Elites I unlocked then without having to go hunting for them.
I guess the whole "Sense of Accomplishment" has left some players. Seriously, its an Elite for many reasons, and one is that you have to go out and get it. Feast of Corruption is the best example of an Elite skill, its out in the middle of no where and can be fun to cap. And "fun" in my definition is going out and getting the elite, i dont see whats so fun about buying a tome and using it to get an elite. I dont buy a game to blow through it in a couple days, or start a new char just to level it up to 20 easy. Some people are beginning to lose the expirence of playing the game.
well Jt I think that it's sometimes fun to hunt down skills but sometimes they can be really, Really, REALLY pesky bosses like VwK took me an hour to cap even with guildies =P and an elite tome would be easier or hard to reach skills like ones only found at the end of a mission or something
I really need a rit elite tome for my warr, I do NOT wanna go that deep in Factions :l If anyone gets one, could i have it? ^^ I'd most likely be on my warr, Cheeze Thats Fried ( it might be "s" in cheeze instead of "z" )
Its dissapointing, People buy the game but just dont want to play it. They would just skip the majority of PvE aspects just to jump into UW/FoW, Tombs, DoA or w/e. And thats when i have no sympathy for people who say "i'm bored with Guild Wars"
Jt, you donnot understand me.. Currently I am working on NF with my warr, and do not want to get involved with more than one campaighn at a time. It makes me get side-tracked. I DO want to play GW, but NF first.. :) Although, all the campaighns are very good, ( NF Armor FTW tho ;P ) I just want to finish up NF, which might take me a month or so, considering I got NF a month after everyone else, and all my friends beat it, then so do I goddamit! I think youve mistaken my words.

I've done everything more than once, this takes the repeat out of it.
Im somewhat like rogue.. Ive beat all 3 games with a odd type of char.. the misunderstood mesmer.. but My friends brag about beating NF with a warr.. So I kick their asses in GvG ^,.,^
Hmm i find it better to look thru chests, but u may get a different profession tome. Warning: i do not recommend killing bosses in hard mode. i killed the same boss in HM 40 times and got no elite tome.
