You equip them to hold 10 more items, just like regular bags with a rune of holding on... it's just, you can't buy bags or runes in pre-searing, so ANet introduced these unique items that only drop from the Charr Bosses like once every 20 runs maybe.
He doesn't have any runes, just the ID'd armor containing them. He wont be able to salvage them until he can get a expert salvage kit in Post-searing. The bag things is cool though didnt' know about it, can you use them in post also?

Thanks there ;)
*Goes on GW and makes a pre-searing char...and gonna level that*
Since i play on a laptop and cant farm or level my other characters with the lag and i dont wanna die/waste money..
Are you going all the way to lvl 20? and what as the method you use to get to lvl 16 in 3 days in pre. BTW Nice loot ^^
From Level 1 to 5 I just explored the whole map, killing things as I found them, got all the outposts and started and finished most the quests (I didn't accept the valueable XP, I planned to use it later when creatures no longer give me it). I also did the Elementalist Experiment over and over, it's very easy, and 12 creatures can be wiped out with a single Firestorm.
Level 5 to 8 I repeated the Bandit Raid quest, or killed the Bears and Blood Sworn outside Foibles Fair.
Level 9-11 I killed the level 5 Oakhearts in the Northlands (Over The Wall) and a few Charr Patrols, but this took longer solo than I was willing to do.
Level 12 - 13 Charr, the lot of 'em all the Way to the Four Bosses
Level 14 - 16 Only the Charr Bosses give XP (they're level 10) I killed the surrounding mobs, then all four bosses repeatedly, around 100 times (this took me a whole day pretty much)
Level 16 onwards, you can take the quest rewards now, or when your level 19 to help take you to 20, but the other 30 or so thousand XP is gained by Charr death-levelling... which I'm in the middle of doing right now....
I'm currently level 17, getting a mob of Charr to my level takes around 8 hours of being killed by them, I just take them to my current level, and gain 100xp from each, trying to get around 9 on me at a time.
Hey Genesis what's the provocation to spend 8 hours dieing? But very impressive regardless and i never thought anything but a warrior could solo farm the charr in pre.

To gain anymore experience, I need to increase the level of the creature before I kill it.... creatures gain experience from killing me, so I lure them to a res shrine, and go afk... when I return, I kill them at the higher level, and get XP.
Soloing Charr... it's easy when you use the environment to your advantage. I nuke, so it's easy to stand behind a wall, on a hill etc... at the lower levels, I died quite often, but as long as I managed to take down one or two, the run back to them wasn't far, and there's no DP in pre... you just have to be stubborn and relentless... eventually your level, and total HP, outmatches them...
Hmm, I didn't think you could death level with charr anymore, You will have to show me how to do that when I get around to it.
Will do, Brynden.

Strange.devona hasn't got the Bandit Raid Quest.
The quest is from Baron Egan in Ascalon City. Sorry my bad. You see Devona for the reward.

When did you take a secondary prof? cause it is a quest so did you wait to 16?
I took it as soon as possible. Although I completed all the other secondary profession quests so I can accept the rewards, even after accepting a 2nd. The other trainers reward you, but then tell you as you've already chosen, they can't make you a Necro, Monk etc....
The total XP gained from the quests required for your second profession, is about 500 XP, that's like 1 more death-level session... I think I can live without it :P - and it makes getting from 1 to 16 a hell of a lot quicker.
