Ooh, solo UW without Spell Breaker. Must say I've never tried it solo as a 55 before, especially not without SB. How do you make sure the NM dies before getting off rend, and what if you find 2?
You will never find 2 Nightmares if you don't aggro to much. And he kills the Nightmare by using PS when Zealot's Fire is activated and ofc you need to stand close.
Agreed that you will not pull more than one nightmare if you are very careful. The problem is at times there are two nightmares that spawn right next to each other. If you kill them by using zelots fire and ps for damage you have to be close enough for ps to work. Running up close enough for PS to work puts in you danger of getting the second nightmare.
Unless you have an interrupt, you will have problems with more than one nightmare at a time. The whole area can be done, but it is still slower than duo team.
or, alternatively, you can go as a large group, and wait till one guy who doesnt kno what hes doing starts the quest from that reaper guy and gets almost every1 killed. then u run away and solo the rest :D
In that first chamber there are 2 Nightmares linked to the patroling Aatax's and then up to 3 randomly hidden in that first chamber. If you agro 1 patroling Aatax you should only get one DN but more often than not you catch an extra NM as well, that's where the skill is. I think I've had 4 in one go before when running in and agroing everything!
I've come to the conclusion that soloing UW isn't worth the loot/time when a 2 man team can easily do a full Smite run in under 10 mins with minimal risk.
It's not a fake, I just have all my texture qualities set to low. My RAM is getting dusty, so I'm playing for performance, not visual stimuli. It's fun to 55 in the UW, considering how I can go AFK in the middle of a run for a smoke break or a food stop. Switching the build up a little is fun, too. Of course, failures do waste a plat, but with Ecto dropping like it does, 1 plat for a failed run isn't hurting me too greatly.
