Ever wondered why 9/10 replies to those screenshots where made by people who 1) were either in the screenshot or 2) wanted to be in the screenshot...
can we help it that a large portion of this community is in the amp alliance? and that they also like to talk about it to eachother? ... do you want us to start a secondary Amp community where we can post all the pics we want? or can we use the community that founded us to have our interaction? If you dont like us having fun with each other and documenting our fun so that we can look back and laugh/remember, then get some more of your guild members to come on amp, and laugh/have fun with them here :P lol

meh ... I guess its not a big deal to me unless someone is "credit-farming" and since I was with them when they took the pic, I know they werent credit farming, because they were pretty much saying "ahh, you submit it, you got a better pic" but thats somthing you wouldnt know as you werent there. Im sorry if this picture only makes 6 people happy, but thats at least 6 ppl. If its such an incredibly big deal for you, dont look at it. LMAO ... But tell you what, next time ill post my pics in a thread, and everyone that was in that pic can give me 10 credit, then we'll see how you react. ... I think its fairer that we submit a pic here, and they get the 10 cred, end of story. But then of course, we have people like you who seem to just like creating problems outa nothing. If were not running outa server space, and its not a pic of some random lvl 5 person standing in SjM for no reason, and simply sais in the caption "I dont know why I took this picture" then, I dont have a problem with it being submitted. But I enjoy watching exciting screenshots, screenshots that show something exciting... I don't find anything exciting, new or interesting about you guys posing... If you were in combat it would be more exciting, if something strange happened it would be interesting...

I don't think the same here would have happened if ANOTHER guild that had NOTHING to do with the AMP community all of a sudden "popped" up. He/she would with a mere 75% chance get flamed for doing this only for cred hunting...

of course, showing off some muscles ain't nothing wrong with, but not like 5-7 times or so.... I just feel that would be wrong against all the non-ampers...
I dont mind other guilds posting screenies, if anything, I encourage it. I like seing what the gameamp community is up to. Weather the picture be posed in some mission or fighting in another, I dont care, the fact is that it shows people are doing things together, and that they are from this community. It showes unity, fun, and people getting allong. If another guild does the same, i dont mind one bit. But maby AMP should stop documenting all their events, bleh, I seriously dont get why this is such a huge deal. Its only made a big deal by a small few.
on another note, I have notified Everdream about this pic, the posts, and I trust his judgement in this situation and what will or will not be accepted in the future.
hmm, reading over all of these comments has me thinking a bit...
Anyone can post a screenshot, i do not have any bias when i'm approving / going through them. if you're in a guild i've never heard of, you're just as likely to have your submission approved as long as it follows the proper screenshot criteria created by Evil Geek.
being that a lot of the dedicated submitters are in the AMP Alliance, the likelyhood of there being screenshots of them playing/posing is obviously higher.
some screens that are over done eventually become tiring and will not be approved (ie: a few months ago when there were dozens of screens of the 55's in elona). but as long as it's unique to the user, they haven't submitted it before, and it has the proper criteria then it's hard to cheat people out of the screens that they take and say they're not worthy of being posted on this site.
in regards to screenshot comments, they're much like any other submission, so they must remain flame-free. if you're going to write something like: 'yawn, seen it before' 'this is old', to you it might be, but to someone else it might be their first experiance (ie: Glint Screens)

finally, if you have any concerns about screenshots / submissions (and comments in submissions) of any kind i'm the first person you should be talking to being that they're mainly my responsibility and a lot of this sort of thing can be avoided simply by doing that =)
