I think you entered a mission from Captain rujiyo with hench.
When you enter it with hench, you automatically get 6 hench (i think).

QFT, thats what happens. if you die you get 7/4 party but when you zone they disappear

I saw a dude making a party of 255 this way.... and i had some tenya's (3) on me once. I couldnt get them off by zoning within the island. I had to which i thought was pretty strange. The only way i could get rid of them was kiciking. The leave button didnt work :/

This happened to me too. Take some henchies to the Rujiyo festival mission and there's a good chance that they will double. Give it a try!
