The short conversation between Kai Ying and Prof. Gai was a parody/play on a similar conversation (and numerous ones thereafter) between Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. Referring to the books penned by (Sir) Arthur Conan Doyle between 1887-1927 and was required reading for me in school.
His nemesis was Professor James Moriarty. He also resided in 221b Baker St. London. Don't ask me why, but I still have these bits of info stuck in my head. I had a taskmaster for an english professor for 3 yrs of my high school life. :(
No offense, but that really isn't very funny. I've read some of the Sherlock Holmes books and I don't even find it funny. I know that some people might, but IMO it's not. I'm not bashing you or anything, just putting in my two cents worth :P.
I admit it took me a few seconds to get it and im sure that alot of younger members of the site wouldnt get it, but to those of you who do you must admit it is humerous.
Also to members who dont have anything nice to say there is a nice little quote that im sure even you would have heard "if you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all" criticism is fine by me, but do it constructivly please.
