My apologies for the rude people above (exempting maddog and Jeremy): some people have the tastes and humor of three year olds.
The pattern is quite nice, and I personally like the color. It looks like gilding to me (gold leaf plated in decorative patterns), whereas a lot of the other colors I see just look like stick-ons (personal opinion: no flaming).
