| How to change my password? |

No, I have not been hacked or anything, I just want to know how to change my password. Arenanet's support thing tells me to go into my account and press Edit Account and click Change Password, then it tells me to go to this website and log in NC, I'm confused at this part..

I'm sure it's an option on the login screen (in the same group as add access key, etc.)
I have a flannel to wash my face
if it gets mucky i feel disgraced.

Ok, when guild wars has just started up
Login, do not click on a character.
Click on the Edit Account button, its right beside the logout button
Click on Change Password then next
follow the rest of the instructions from there

Thats what did exactly. It tells me to go to the PlayNC website and Login my NC Account, but I don't know what to do from there.

i dont want to hijack ur thread but,
i forgot the pw to my old email account, which i put gw under, and, want to change the email adress..... is tehre ANY way that i can change it, even though i ahve to go into both account.. get what im saying?

I have the same problem... the Client used to be able to edit/change passwords, but now just links you to the Support Website then PlayNC website.
You need to login or register with them (if you can access the store you already have)... Then in the Account area there'll be a list of game accounts associated with the PlayNC account... there's a Change Password option there (if I remember correctly)...

On the same topic, I have multiple GW accounts associated with my PlayNC account, and I can no longer edit the email address for each game account, I can just change the one email account for my PlayNC account only... which is ok for the time, but what if I need to change it in the future etc?? I keep meaning to ask support, but never get round to it.

So, has anyone figured it out yet? I asked A.Net support they gave me a lot of techinical mumbo jumbo and I couldn't reply. They said stuff about "intergrating" but I don't know what that is. So anyone figure out how to change you password?

Ok, have you ever logged into the GW Store before? If yes than you must login to their website with the SAME account you used to log into the store. I recently went through about a week with tech support to figure this out.
It was more confusing for me because I made an account on their website after I had my GW account, then I made yet another account for the store. After a few days it came down to this, I had to give them some info (my name, Date of birth, a few other things) that I used to create the online store account. They then gave me the account name for the online store(that I created) I logged in with that and I was able to change my password.
And about the intergration, basically, if you have EVER opened the GW store and made an account, that account is now you PlayNC Master account, logging into that on the PlayNC website will give you access to change the password.
This is part of the response they gave me.

-- What first and last name did you use when you created the account?
-- What physical address did you use when you created the account?

-- What are the last 4 digits of the credit card used for your purchases in the Guild Wars Official Store? |
As you can probably figure out by the beginning, I had to give them the access key I used for my account, so they could check if it was integrated into a PlayNC account. It was so the requested that info. I gave them the info and got the account name of the playNC master account, I was then able to login to the website and change my PW.
If you contact them asking for the playNC account tied to your GW account, they will probably ask you for your access key, then the above info that they asked me.
EDIT: Oh, and if you need help with some stuff that they ask you, feel free to PM me(or post your questions in this topic).

When clicking on Account, then Manage, it wants the account name you used to login to the store, not to login to guildwars, therefore your email wont work as you cant use an email as the login name for the store. If you cannot remember the account name you entered for the store(such as I didnt), you can contact their support and request the account name, they will probably have you go through the same process I did.

Yes, when you first accessed it, it asked you to create an account, since you dont have to login to the store each time you click the button, theres a good chance you may have forgot the login name.
EDIT: As I said, just ask their support for the PlanNC Master account linked to your access key and they will probably ask you a few things and send you the account name(if you awnser their questions right :P )
NOTE: It took a few days for them to "examine" my access key and find the account linked to it, so dont be discouraged if they take a few days to respond.

heh, awesome, goodluck with your account :)
Funny thing is when I asked them I asked them about it just because i've heard of people having trouble with it. Even better is I asked in 1 small sentance at the bottom of a few paragraphs asking about something else. I ended up getting more of a response about changing the password than I did about the original question I asked, as a matter of fact, they didnt awnser my original question till about the 4th reply :X
