We're an International Guild, which means two things:
A) We're open for people from all Realms, as long as you are capable of speaking English.
B) You might not get an immediate invite if it's the middle of the night for most of the officers, so be patient :-)
We're also open for newbies and veterans alike. Part of our intentions are to extend Gameamp's helpfulness to the game itself.
Be advised however, that by joining the Gameamp Guides you take it upon yourself to represent Gameamp and its ideals in the game. As Gameamp is known as a non-flaming, non newbie abusing alternative to most official game forums/communities and we're very proud of that, we'll expect, nay, require you to abide by the same guidelines on the subject of common decency and mutual respect while in game. |
The only things I would like to add to that is:
Remember we are a guild - any guild requires a degree of commitment and work, be ready to help each other and be friendly. If your active in PvP remember the responsibilty falls on you to make it succeed, be prepared to turn up to pre-arranged matches/scrimmages etc. We need more active Pvp members from both sides of the atlantic.
As part of an alliance we have reached certain agreements with our fellow guilds, one of which is that any member who is kicked from a member guild will not be allowed in to the other guilds, please bear that in mind when applying. At present our alliance consists of True Cinema (TC), Psycho Bunnies [PB] and ourselves. We will be looking to expand in the future.
Members are also expected to take an active role in our private forums, get to know each other, share ideas and build on our strengths.
If your presently in a guild please mention that in your post so that we know we need to whisper you or send you a PM onsite.
Try and tell us a bit about yourself and what you think you can bring to the guild and just as importantly what you expect from a guild.
We have something called an AMP Agreement which outlines expected behaviour and what our guild is all about you can read a copy here.
IMPORTANT
Please speak to our recruitment officer ingame if you feel the need to discuss your application or ask about progress, as Guild leader and Site Manager I am prone to many whispers as it is and would appreciate some time to play :=)

New Members MUST follow the following rules:
- New members MUST PM me onsite to get access to the private forums within 48hrs of joining
- New members MUST sign the AMP Agreement within 7 days of joining
Failure to do either will mean membership is revoked.

Hi,
I'd love to join. I'm very active (on pretty much every day), and I'm just starting to get interested in pvp (trying to get some fame in HA currently - you know how fast that goes :P). If you guys need a few more people for pvp, I'd be happy to join. I have a pretty decent knowledge of the game (mostly from a pve standpoint), and I'd love to help anyone who needs it, if it's in my power to do.

Hello, I'd love to join this guild. I am a dedicated player, and an experienced player. I have been at this game for about a year now. I am interested, very, in this guild because I believe it may be the guild I have been looking for. I have been looking for a friendly, active, great guild for a while. I believe I could bring experience, not that the guild lacks it lol, activiness, and friendliness to the guild. I am always dedicated to the guild (clan, group, whatever) that I am in in games. Im intrested in joining Amp if its a active friendly guild , im usually on for 5 hours + daily :) and always up for pvp , i recently graduated from LBS so i can provide runs ect for guildies when they need , im always up for a laugh and always do my bext to get along with anyone around the world . Hi, im interested in joining your guild, im online for several hours every day and for awhile now have been trying to get involved with GvG/ha so this looks ideal. Thoguh i also enjoy the pve side of it, especially with guild groups. I havnt got a huge experience with pvp but have a little, but i do have alot of experience with the game with about 1700 hours played over a way too short time period lol.
Can commit to most times for pvp with a little notice and look forward to having a chance to being in an organised team instead of random ones!

I'd love to join. I've been here for about a month or so, can't really remember, but everyday whenever I get on the computer, the first thing I do when I open firefox is look at the gameamp forums. I play PvE alot, and recently got into the PvP aspect of guild wars (1st fame point today.. :). I have a W/Mo/E/R and a R/Mo/Me. Whenever we have favor (We being America.. and you know how often that is) I try to find a trapping group (usually 3 man) for UW. Other than that, I farm trolls on my warrior, run on my warrior, or farm tombs on my ranger.

I'd be more than happy to join. I primarilary play PvE but am getting into the whole PvP aspect. I own both Factions and Prophecies which are linked on one account. As you may have already seen, I've made a Guild Wars video and plan to continue to make videos. The last guild I was in isn't much worth mentioningm, it was the "fall apart" kind. I'd really just love a guild I can stay in and get help with now. I play usually all weekend and more than often, most of the day during the week.

I've been wanting to get involved in pvp for a while now, i have a little Ha experience. I've mostly been playin pve since i started. I play for few hours a days and can be flexible if you need me for certain days. I have no problem working as a team or using specific builds.

let us know a bit more about yourself in this thread - I know you well from the forums :) but I don't know what it is you expect from a guild or want to contribute. I have alot of interuptions ingame as is and it gets to be a bit maddening that I cant play as much as I like so you would be doing me a big favour and increase my leisure time if you post info here rather than discuss it ingame.
Also another thing for people to realise is that as much as we love to help we like to be helped too - we arent a guild to help you through the game so you can move on to greater things we are a guild that wants to become one of those greater things with YOUR help, bear that in mind when posting.

Of course Geek! I was just in a rush last night so I just wanted to put in a few words before you were full up! ;-)
I recently have begun to get into some PvP action (mostly HoH and a few 1v1's here and there). Only starting to attempt this recently, I'm only rank 1 (no IWAY thank you very much). However the "better" groups that I've been able to get into have said I play like a rank 6/9 player. I think that it just shows I'm a competent player that follows commands.
I do play basically every day, for at least a couple hours, if not more. I do have Vent TS and a mic, so that isnt a problem. Also, for the PvE'er in all of us, I do try and help people in PvE as much as I can, just doing missions with them and the like.
Well, I have to go, if you need anything to know anything else, don't be afraid to ask! Thanks a lot, later.

lo guys.
id like to be in your guild ive only really just got guild wars, i have a lv 20 ele/necro :P im both a pvp player and a Pve.
ok a bit about me.
my 1st mmorpg was world of warcraft(WoW) ive now played WoW for over 1 year have 5 lv 60's, 1 of which has complete epics. i used to be an oficer in my guild, and i used to run PvE events.
ive had the original guild wars since it came out but as i was ingrossed in WOW never got around to playing. now that factions is out im loving it.

I don't know if it's still a option but i would like to jion AMP.
I got:
lvl 20 W/Mo
lvl 20 Mo/Me(needs to cap SoJ !)
Lvl 15 W/Mo(Factions)
Lvl 7 N/Mo(MM hopefully)
And i got 2 characters slots left so pvp is a option. I got no expierence in Gvg but i'm really interested in it. Currently i'm not in a guild and wasn't really looking for one but this might be interesting. I got well some friends that no but 1 friend in the AMP guild(if he is still in it) and that is Dragonius. As a old GSC member(wich i regret that i left) it would be a pleasure to jion either one of them.

Hey wassup guys. I wouldn't mind joining the AMP guild. I looked at the screenshots and it looks like yall are fun people. I'm most experienced on my warrior, Ult Potatoe, but i can monk a little bit as well. I've been through many guilds, even owned my own (lol) a while ago. I usualy leave because the members are never on when i am, or they never talk. I dont hardly post here at all but i think i will soon. I decided to hate guild wars guru, and i like this place better anyways lol. gimme a call.
