I like this one because of its subdued non-clashing colour scheme. Most of the others are ment to jump out at you, to the point of garishness (BP's excluded), but this signature complements a post rather than dominatte it.

Q: NexT used the Dragon from Lineage 2 (background), this wasn't allowed right? I dare even say he used a bg made by some1 else because you can see those weird things at the top, which I know I'v seen before on a Lineage 2 background.

the rules state it HAS to include a GW monster. it doesn't say anything about using a Lineage II monster on the bg.
anyway, i guess i'll vote too. My vote goes to Fenniculus. Funny sig

perhaps the voters should give their reason why they voted for a specfic sig? (just an idea)
my reason why i voted for Fenniculus's sig: Very creative imo, he didnt make use of DeviantArt brushes or Ctrlaltdesign tuts, the colors dont clash; it has this nice wintery feeling...

from graphical perspectives, lady yunie has a very excelent sig, great text, great render blending, color balence and render blending.
however NexT has the same thing as lady yunie going on. excelent coloring to the text render and background.
these two are the only really good ones out there in my mind, everybody else seems to just be taking the render and the background, not bothering to cut it out and add thier own personal one.
NexT gets my vote. lady yunie did a better job using her render, but nexts overall looks better.

it's just that you didn't add any special effects to your background (at least not enough...)
look at my sig, the background is actualy a forest (real life pic) it was very sharp, i blurred everything then drew the light aside to give it a better focus.
yours still LOOKS like it could have just been taken there and nothing done to it. look at NexTs sig, he made his own background for it, and it looks GOOD.
although to be honest the real reason i didn't vote for yours was the text.

Oh, so it's a contest of doing as much as you can to your pour sig now eh? :-)
I for one think Fenn's background is great as it is, a real mood setter. Art is about leaving things out, not putting things in. At least in my book. Still, there is that horrible lens flare...
Btw, I do like what you did with your background as well. A RL picture wouldn't fit and this way the "camera" seems to focus on the Ranger more.
