lol, i dont know many but i know if you add dye remover you get a lighter colour, and that it doesn't matter what order that you mix the dyes.Also i would really like to know how to make white dye, if anyone would be kind enough to tell me.

I believe white dye is dye remover and silver dye OR 3silver and a yellow (not sure if theres an order).for pink u could try red+remover or red+white or possibly silver instead of white

I posted this dye mixing chart in another topic but here it is agien. Dye Chart it is simple to use and has alot of the combinations..but i was wondering if any one knows how to mix dyes to get a black one,or if it is even possible.

A complete List of Dye combinations including GOLD.
1 purple + blue = dark blue
2 purple + red = pink
3 yellow + blue = yellowish blue
4 .yellowish blue + purple = light pink
5. silver + red = redish silver
6 silver + orange = orange silver
7 silver + green = green silver
8 silver + yellow = yellow silver
9 silver + blue = blue silver
10 silver + purple = purple silver
11 orange silver + yellow silver = gold
12 purple silver + blue silver = light silver purple
13 purple silver + green silver = crimson silver
14 orange + red = reddish orange
15 orange + yellow = lightish orange

hm they are both great so rated them as high as i could but i still want to know how to make white (will try those ideas but wodering if anyone knows for definate)

darn neither of those ideas made white so just wasted lots of cash! but thank you for trying to help, silver+dye remover makes grey and 3 silvers + yellow makes a very strange colour but it made my mesmers boot just look dirty.

To Dye a Chaos Axe is tricky. But the best I've found to make a Chaos axe look cooler is Black dye. It will turn your Chaos axe white.
There is a post on Dyeing a Chaos Axe here somewhere. I'll try to find it.

chaos axes dye the oposite colour used so lets say u want it red u dye it blue etc and if u are tryin to dye mesmer armour white as far as i know u cant as its base colour is green and theres no way u can counter the green colour to make it white

LOL good chart but it doesn't help with the dye-dye remover combos.
I would love it if the designers could release and applet so that we could play with colour combos and armour combos.
My fav. dye combo at the moment is purple-purple-blue for my mesmer. It gives a not-quite blue, not-quite purple colour which is delicious. I currently have it on courtly armour, but I think it would look great on teh 15k enchanter stuff.

on my 15k bonelace, all colors come out almost exactly as they looked in the bottle.
Also, i think a couple of you dont realize you can get 3rd tier colors.
3rd = (color1+color2) + (color3+color4)
obviously, dont waste your time mixing blue+blue, its still just blue.

i made a general comment about the fact its seemed that most people asking the questions about dyes werent aware of mixing 2 mixes, like how to make gold. i realized your link showed 4 colors, and please realize not every comment is directed toward you, but at the post in general.
also, for my bonelace, i guess because mine was a dark mix, the base color (red i think?) didnt mess it up too much, if any. for mine i used (purple+blue)+(purple+black). it looks identical to the color represented in the mix bottle icon. i could see how a dark base color could skew some of the lighter greens, blues, and yellows.
the one link you posted, that points to another forum, has some good secondary links on it, one being a color wheel for both chaos axes and necro scars, very handy. necro scar colors are shifted slightly. for example, a dark blue/purple dye makes a vibrant magenta color. i like mixing a weird mix, then putting it on my scars to make just a crazy random color.

white dye is a tricky one, alot of different armors dont actually go close to white while others do, here is a pic of my monk in collectors armor which i dyed white
colour combo was Silver, Silver, Silver, Yellow
later when i can be bothered i will post a pic of my ranger in druids armor from droks with same colour combo, and i havnt found an armor for ele that dyes white yet, but when i do i will post it up aswell
