it is possible to make a very pale cream colour and thats 3 silvers+1 yellow then mixed with 1 silver+3 yellows and i have tried it on my warrior armour and it looks nearly pure white just has a bit of a creamy clour to it
What supersaiyangoku meant is that he mixed 1 already mixed vial of dye with another already mixed vial of dye. :P . Don't really know how to explain it better :P .
I'm not sure about the 3 yellows and 1 silver thing. But i tried the the silver with dye remover and i dyed my rangers bandana thing, it made it a grey color/ very dirty white color. Just a heads up

Yeah, white dye doesnt exist
(my monk armor dyed white: 3 silver + 1 yellow. most armors need different combinations to get a whitelike color)
I dyed all of my ele's pyromancer armor silver, and it looks pretty damn white. a bit blue perhaps, but i don't mind. i'd just collected a bunch of whites and had just bought the droks armor, so i did it.
don't buy mixed dyes from anyone, people mix them and try to scam others. there was a table of exactly what colours were made from what dyes, and it's probably cheaper just to make it yourself.
hey, i have a mesmer with a 15k jacket and i want to dye it white so it looks like a neet dress. i tried the 3 silver + 1 yellow and it came out an ugly greenish. any help. also what color should it be when i apply it?
So far I've gotten the impression that Rnager and Monk armor are the easiest to get white(ish). Evo's Monk will look decidedly more yellowish under a less glaring sun, btw. You'll always keep a bit of color in it. The Female Druid set seems to be easiest of all, going stark white at the drop of a silver dye.
Mesmer armor seems to be the hardest to dye as they always have a base dye which you can't always remove. In the case of Rogue's armor I know you can, but with Noble armour I've had no such luck yet. I did get it from "ugly-green" to "velour-green" with yellow+3dye-removers and that was pretty nice in itself.
i used 5 white dyes on my ranger armor, and it turned pale white:
1 silver + 1 dye remover --->armor = white armor
the mixture turns maroon, dyes white
wot i stated before worked on my warrior as ranger armour is just plain and simple to dye any colour u want same as monk armour but as for that mesmer i dunno becuase its got a different base colour so really u have to experiment like i did to find out

just thought i would add that these are the proffesions base colour(after usin dye remover on the armour)
mesmer-green
elementalist-purple
monk-yellow (blue on tattos)
ranger-yellow
warrior-yellow
necromancer-red
so in theory when u use the 3 silvers+1 yellow mix to make silver on monk/ranger or warrior it equals to 3 silvers and 2 yellows mixed so i hope this helps any of u in findin a way to neutralise the base colour of your proffesion
Nice work supersayaingoku, I do think that there are some more base colours per profession though.
I.e. Rogue's armor has a blue base (for females anyway)
The Judges / Censor armor for monks has a red base.
I think Necromancers have several base colors as well, but they never affect dyes put on them afaik.
If you have white skin the white tatoos look funny, I dyed my Citidel tats white and didnt like them so went with red + dye remover. All of my monks 15k Judges armour is white, except for his red Nike.

Only reason yo have White Dye now, is beacuse it was just introduced into the game last night. The same with Brown Dye, and Grey dye. When this thread was started, you had to mix your own dye.
Last night Gaile was in LA, she said white dye will not be at dye place until people start selling it to the dye merchent.. so when nightfall servers go live.. white dye will be around sometime.. :)
