OK, here's what the Fake Guild is (I think its high time somebody did this on this website):
Anybody who is willing to help people in Guild Wars, post your character's name and professions here, along with his/her server (American, European, Korean). State your requirements (like money) and limitations (like time), if any, for you to help somebody. You may modify these for particularly difficult requests, as long as the "customer" agrees to your new terms. I'll start a thread which I'll call "Fake Guild requests." If you would like to leave the guild, edit the post and write \"(name) has left the Fake Guild.\" instead.
I would recommend also putting your Fake Guild information in your profile somewhere, but this is not mandatory.
Anybody who wants help with something, please ask in that thread (the above-mentioned Fake Guild requests. Search for it by typing its name in the forum's Search text box. If you would like request a specific member of the guild, just PM him or her instead. You must meet the posted requirements, though, to do that.
The Fake Guild member must PM a response if he volunteers to do something the \"customer\" posted on the \"Fake Guild requests\" thread, even if he was not PMed directly. If this causes overflow of PMs for customers. When your (the customer's) request is completed or no longer needed, edit your post and write \"Served\" instead.
If there are any problems or confusion, contact me directly instead of posting it here. Also, if some staff sees this, please consider turning this into a feature of the website, it would be a one-of-a-kind idea as far as I know. I hope for the success of the Fake Guild.

I've decided to reward people for being members of the Fake Guild. Each member will receive 9 credit for joining (my rewards are x3 since I'm level 9).
I'll start by joining the Fake Guild myself (there is no leader or anything like that):

Limitations:
If no time is set, I will only help if we're online at the same time. If a time is set, I will send a PM of apology if I don't show up.

Awsome thinking, i guess i better get my monk all ready, there usually is a global shortage of monks... so when i get the monk set ill join.

Good idea Garret.
I'm tempted to join. Not sure yet though.
A) I have like 60-80 or so people I'm helping in my guild (I'm an officer and that's what it means in our guild)
B) My online times are all over the place at the moment :-/
Here's a thought:
Maybe make a Guild/Team here on Gameamp for the Fake Guild?

MMORPG (Acheivement): Miserable Malcontents Online Rehashing Past Glories
MMORPG (PvP): Macho Men Obviously Really Prefer Griefing

MMORPG (Social): Virtual Worlds with Virtual Wealth and achievements, but with Real People with Real Feelings.

I think thats a rather good idea mate,
however i wont likely take part as I do a great deal of helping in the game as it is and have an ever growing list of buddies in the game, many who are not shy at all about asking for help when Im online. perhaps it would be something I'd be interested in when I complete the game with my 3rd and 4th characters, not to mention the expanded quests that i have yet to do with my Completed characters.
Good Luck in your endeavor, i fully support the idea.

Ooh all these potential Fake members. I'm glad you all at least like the idea. Just remember, I'm taking into consideration that you don't always have the time to help, which is why you get the requirements and limits. You can make a small profit by asking for a reasonable amount of gold, you can say you only play on sundays or at a certain time or something. Or you can say you only help people before or after a certain point in the game. Whatever floats your boat, I designed the rules of the Fake Guild around your needs. I hope you all do end up joining, it is my fond hope that if this is popular enough GameAmp will make it into a normal part of their website rather than a pair of threads.
One last thought, let's highlight the joining information in some color or another so that its visible beyond any other text that might show up.

this guy right here loves to run people(good fighter too..), so just name a place and ill do it (able to run any place.. save warcamp by myself)

Hi, I have a R/Mo20 (Alisha Shadowborne) who's willing to help just about anyone who's nice, does not have short attention span, and is not childish. I can't specify a time since it's kinda depends on the mood (or my work), so forgive me if I'm not able to help all the time. Not that I'm that great a player anyways :)
I also have Mo/Me20 that hasn't finished the game yet (ascended, though) if anyone need some monkie lovin' :) Her name is Alisha Trefenwyd.

I'm willing to help anyone who isnt impatient, childish, rude, or obscene (includes the use of "noob").
Times that are good for me... whenver I'm on. Send me a whisper, chances are good that I wont be doing anything lol

Will help anyone progress through the game if mature and nice.
Limitations/specifics:
Will not take appointment unless for specific tasks from players I know. For all others you will find me online on an almost daily basis from 8:30 PM EST and sporadicaly in the day.
I will not run ppls and my W/MO will be availaible for exp seekers who has casters or weak specialized chars who has trouble surviving in public parties. When asking for my help to progress I will assist you by playing in a way that you will get rear protection (kind of a bodyguard for rear casters healer) I will stay with you for as long as I can.
My EN is available for all your nuking needs and I will also help stick with you for progression.
No fees asked. I will appreciate gift if you happen to get an item that would serve me and that you don't need. In special situations if more power is required I can summon players from my guild to assist.
PM me online and mention that it is in relation with the fake guild.

I am only able to play on Sat/Sun, so i really wouldnt be of much help as a member, but if you need anyone Garrett and I am online/available, gimme a knock, you know where to find me... Others who fully join, same applies, you need a meat shield of a nuker/ranger...hit me up

Warrior/Monk level 20, done with Chapter one.
Requirements: Honesty.
Limitations: Well, just have to talk about time.
I can help out with missions. Lately I have been teaching others about different builds online. And I waste my time at er...my favorite spot now with my guild leader. There, we do free price checks on items. So send me a whisper or PM if you ever need any help on about any sort of trading.
ALSO. IF you ever end up doing a trade that has to do with over 100K. (100 plat). I can be there to moderate. As in hold on to your extra plat and then hold the trade. Or just do the trade myself. No charge. If you ever plan on doing this trade, I would suggest keeping it to people you meet on forums, or people you trust. If you don't trust me to hold your plat, you don't have to.

I think this is a great idea and would really to join...
But due to school and work i dont have much time to play and im really eager for xmas break :D I play almost everyday still but somedays i play for a few hours others for barely an hour.
I would be willing to help anyone with pointers, questions, builds, quests, skill cap and the first few missions. IF i do qualify for this, i will let you know when i'll have more free times :)
I dont have limitations, find me when i'm online.

I would love to join the fake guild and help people out. If ya want help with something you will have to catch me on.I play on the american servers.Im usually just beating the snot out of griffons or trying to get a team together for UW so im usually not that busy because of guild inactivity.
Or if someone from the fake guild needs another person to tag along to help someone just pm me in game.I'm usually on between 12:00 a.m. Eastern Standard time and 4:00 a.m.Ohh and i dont like to help people that are immature and impatient.Like i said i can help out but its been awhile since i did a few of the missions.
