| Photoshop Signature Tutorial |
|
|
|
Made this back in June, saw the outbreak of Photoshop around here, so I'm posting it over here.
Here's the basic deal with terms used.
C4D - Cinema 4D, they're a type of image that is mostly abstract and work well for backgrounds.
Leave some results or questions/feedback.

C4D's and other PS goodies
The above site is great for anything photoshop related. They have some really nice C4D's there along with brushes etc. Just do a search for whatever you need there and you will find tons of things to help your sig making.
The search box is right at the top of the page where it says "Search Art".
Hope this helps :-)

Thank you for comments, never saw this thing got bumped.
I was using CS2 for this. CS3 is just more, you can do the same stuff and more with CS3.

2 things really.
1) I wouldn't have put in the motion blur at the end, makes it too contrasted.
and
2) Put the "Fog" in the top right kind of area, if you look at the stock and figure out where the light is hitting it, you'll see why.
just my 2 cents

Maybe it would be helpful if you told us how to do some of these things... I personally have no idea what a C4D is, let alone how to put a nice one in my image xD

C4Ds are very easy to use. Paste into your signature, set to screen or lighten, and move it around some till you get something you like. After that erase what you don't like.

For a virgin you didn't too bad. The render(master chief) just doesnt blend at all with that background. Try using colors that come from the render or go with it for a background. Smudging your render wouldve been great. Adding a light source with a soft white brush would do wonders. As for the glow go to blending options by going to layer->layer style.
Here is my outcome I did some different different things with the blending options. I also didn't use the fog effect at the beginning. Added a few small details with grunge and glitter brushes.
