Part 4: A crystal revolution!
“I smash thee, foul scarab queen!”
The 90 year old Glint used an enormous strong earthquake on Kophkat Strengis, an ancestor of the now widely know Kephket Marrowfeast, which knocked her and her scarab minions down.
“Now, let’s try this new trick…”Glint said with an evil grin.
If your shocked by the quake, what do you think of this AFTERSHOCK!!!
BAAAM, all scarabs except Kophkat were dead, and Glint turned her gaze at her.
“So, Kophkat, it’s you and me…”
“You maaaay defeaeat meeee, buuuut myyyy speeecieieies wiiill suurviiive…”
And so, with her last breath, Kophkat laid an egg, which disappeared in the dull sand immediately, and then died.
“Hah, easier then I thought!” Glint smiled, and felt her moral rising, as she became more powerful…
“I have to be close now, if I watch the stars, I see I have been traveling for more then 90 years…”, the pre-adult Glint tought.
And she was close, very close, only ten year traveling from her current location and she would reach the shrine of the gods, which we now know as augury rock…
“With the speed of the air!” Glint used her enchantment again, and felt her legs moving faster and faster.
“I’m getting really good at this!” she thought, and then she summoned her armor of mist from a little rain pool.
You could see Glint was almost an adult dragon, she was grown ten times as big as she was before she left, and she had really sharp teeth and claws now, over 3 foot long! But the things you could see it the most in, were her eyes… There was no childish, playful gaze in her eyes, but a cold, intelligent and calculated gaze, from a desert hardened creature…
The young dragon baby had become adult…
“There it is!” Glint yelled and was happy and did a dance on her tail when she saw the shrine of the gods over the hill, where a terrible challenge awaited her..
Dancing on her tail? Maybe not that adult…
