I am very pleased to announce our newest staffer here on this forum. Many knows this person from before, but for those who don't then please give a heartfelt applause to our #1 girl;
Mimori!
Mim will be in charge together with another staffer (who's name won't be mentioned yet) of our brand new and updated Interview Page, where she will be interviewing staffers, respected members or anyone we can get hold of.
Maybe she'll even introduce the new staffers there? Who knows, there might pop up a couple of new interviews with some faces you never thought would get those shiny green letters. So look out the coming days for more tasty gossip and news ;-)
But for now, I would like to yet again congratulate Mimori for becoming staff again, and I hope we will all enjoy her stay.

A new reign begins on the GW Amp site today. A new herald of the Site Manager title has been chosen and his name is Wyat_Hawke.
For those unaware, outstanding staffer/member Kanna recently stepped down as Site Manager for the site. In his departure, a new SM was sought to fill in the void. Kanna will be missed as staffer but I am pretty sure he isn't completely leaving the site. I would like to be one of the first to thank him for his time and effort he placed into the site on a daily basis. Also please give congratulations to Wyat in his new position for the site.
With Wyat taking over as SM, we are considering opening up to take on new staffers. Stay tuned for news on seeking out site assistance. If anyone has any questions feel free to contact Wyat or myself.

The 28th of April will mark the Third Year that Guild Wars was released, and ArenaNet is letting us know in a Big Way. On the 24th of April the Celebration started and will run through Noon PST on the 29th of April. This 5 day event brings in a Brand New End-Game area for Guild Wars Prophecies packed with brand new weapons, Third-Year Miniatures, Cupcakes, Fireworks, The Boardwalk, Rollerbeetle Racing, and the Dragon Arena.

The New Game Master
May I introduce you to the new Community manager: Regina Buenaobra.
She used to work as the Community Manager from Xfire. Her profession is Necromancer and has a character to get to Legendary Defender of Ascalon.
Sarah Brightman
Sarah Brightman's Symphony and Arenanet, two total different things. A few months ago Sarah Brightman approached Daniel Dociu. With the feeling that his art (The Kurzick Cathedral, the Kurzick Loading screen) was a good cover for her new album
Symphony.
A big congratulations to both of these people.

The news just got out that Gaile Gray was leaving, now the other person that was the link between the Developers and the community is leaving. Yes I am talking about Andrew Patrick, the one who new most of the new PvP stuff(eg: Zaishen chest)
Gaile leaves for a new Support job, will Andrew is joining the Question and Answers team.
The reason he is leaving is mainly because of Gaile, with her leaving he started to think about his future and long term goals. He founded himself on a crossroad: he could still be in his current job or go to his new position.

On 31 march 2008 the Guild wars comunity heard some sad news; Their favorite Comunity relations manager leaves her position.
Gaile Gray worked with Areanet for 7 years, 5 years as a CRM.
During the weekend of 4 - 7th April a huge event will be held in all major outpost. During the event all sorts of consumables will drop from the monster in the world of Tyria.
The mascot of Gaile, The Frog, uses all of his powers to summon a new effect during the weekend, this effect doubles the points gained from items that count towards the Party Animal title track.
Be sure to visit this event, it will be a one to remember.

Over at Spectrum, a list of artists and their art have been chosen by a jury to be published in this years Spectrum 15. What is the Spectrum 15? It is an annual showcase of the best fantasy, sci-fi, and horror artwork created each year, and 8 members of the Anet team have been honored to be recognized!
